Jim Fatlane is 14 years old but he had never been to school due to his mental and physical disabilities which leave him unable to talk and partially incontinent. We are delighted to have found a school which specialises in helping children like Jim. It is called "Mahwelereng centre of hope", is a boarding school located at Potgietersrus and accommodates 100 children. The Clabile Trust is proud to be providing the funding for Jim to attend this school. He started in January and has already shown considerable improvement - he has started to talk and is able to sleep at night without a nappy. We look forward to updating you more on Jim's progress.
Orphans and Vulnerable Children in South Africa
The Clabile Trust has been working with The Waterberg Welfare Society which supports people infected and affected by HIV. We are proud to have provided the funding to send many children orphaned by HIV on activity weekends giving them the chance to experience a new environment, play games and take part in team activities.

Most importantly, these weekends also give them the opportunity to build relationships with their care workers, promoting an environment in which they can openly talk about and explore their emotions, and understand the support available to them.
